Okay time for me to brag about my realtor, Steven Ritz, for a moment. I know I know, everyone knows a realtor but hear me out. Full transparency..he’s family, but if he wasn’t, I would still use him one thousand times over. We have used Steve 3x now, two purchases and one sale. We are relatively new to the Orlando area and have been renting a home for the past 9 months while we took the time to figure out where we might like to buy a home in the greater Orlando area. One day when we were driving around getting a feel for some neighborhoods we happened to stop at an Open House that Linda & Steven had the listing on and that is where we met Linda. Linda took the time to find out a little bit about us, what our timeline was for purchasing and if we already had a realtor. The following week Linda followed up with us to see if we had any questions about the home that was featured in the Open House and to let us know that she was available to help us in any way if we needed further help with our home search but did not pressure us. Because we had not established a relationship with another realtor yet and we were so impressed by her, we contacted her and Steven to help us with our home search. My wife and I originally met Linda and Steven as the listing agents when we went to buy our home. We bought through them and had a very smooth professional experience and found them both to be extremely approachable and personable. This past year, we decided to relocate and tried to sell our home with a wholesale company, like the ones you see advertised on TV that will pay you for your house and handle everything for you. The reality was that the company was very nice to you up front until they had done the inspection of your house. Then it turned into a nightmare on the back end of nonsensical deductions from their offer, high pressure sales tactics, threats and really poor customer service passing you back and forth between a group of 4-5 different people. However, now the clock was ticking as we had already signed a lease to rent in the new town we were moving to 1000 miles away. We thought we were sunk and would have to settle for a low ball offer from a disreputable company. Once again, we turned to Linda and Steven, who came out to see us, discussed what they thought they could do for us and assured us that everything was going to be ok. Somehow, through the grace of God, we were able to get out of the abhorrent situation with the wholesaler. Then Linda and Steven went to work. They marketed our home, held two open houses and had the place sold in 15 days! We were stunned, we still are!! These two really know their stuff - their market knowledge, familiarity with how to stage our home and scheduling of the open houses saved the day. Thank you to the two of them.
